Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data is collected when you visit barqai.agency or contact us, and what happens to it. The controller of that data is Toubbali OÜ, registry code 17054922, Soo tn 13-7, 10414 Tallinn, Estonia ("BarqAI", "we"). You can reach us at contact@barqai.agency.
1. What we collect
When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this only to reply to you and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one. Our mailbox is provided by Google Workspace.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
Server logs
The site is served from a server we rent from Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. It keeps short-lived access logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) to run and secure the service. We do not use them to identify visitors.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser sends its IP address to Google to fetch them, under Google's privacy policy.
Analytics and cookies
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. If that changes, this page will say so and any tracking will ask for consent first.
Client projects
If you become a client, we process the personal data needed to deliver the project and to invoice you (contact details, billing details, and any data inside the systems you ask us to work on). That processing is governed by the contract and, where we act on your instructions, by a data processing agreement.
2. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client correspondence and contracts: for the length of the engagement and as long as Estonian law requires afterwards (accounting records are kept 7 years).
- Server logs: 14 days.
3. Who else sees it
We do not sell or rent personal data. It is shared only with service providers who help run the business: Hetzner (hosting), Google (fonts and email), and our accountant for invoicing. Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area under the EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
4. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Email contact@barqai.agency and we will answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).
5. Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. Material changes are noted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
